Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and manufacture of all products and services provided by the Business. By placing an order, making a deposit, or accepting a delivery, the Customer agrees to be bound by these terms in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
2. Custom Orders and Craftsmanship
-
We specialize in bespoke furniture designed and manufactured from scratch by our in-house team.
-
Final designs and material choices must be signed off by the Customer before production commences.
-
Natural materials such as wood and leather may feature unique grains or markings; these are natural characteristics and not manufacturing defects.
-
While we strive for accuracy, actual colors may vary slightly from digital images due to lighting and screen settings.
3. Delivery Policy
-
Standard Lead Time: Delivery is generally between 7 to 10 working days for standard designs or in-stock items.
-
Custom Lead Time: Delivery timelines for custom-built pieces will be communicated at the time of order based on production capacity.
-
Access: It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that furniture can fit through doorways and into the intended room. We do not offer hoisting or specialized rigging services unless pre-arranged and quoted.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
-
No Cash Refunds: In line with our manufacturing model, we do not offer cash refunds for "change of heart" or incorrect size selection by the Customer.
-
Exchanges: Standard items may be exchanged within 7 days of delivery if they are in original condition. A handling/restocking fee may apply.
-
Custom Exclusion: Any item designed or built "from scratch" or customized in size/fabric is strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
5. 6-Month Limited Warranty
-
All products carry a 6-month structural warranty from the date of delivery.
-
This warranty covers manufacturing faults and structural integrity.
-
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, moisture damage, exposure to direct sunlight, or damage caused by incorrect cleaning chemicals.
-
Residential furniture used in a commercial environment will void this warranty.
6. Payment and Ownership
-
Full payment or a stipulated deposit is required to secure your order and production slot.
-
Ownership of the goods remains with the Business until the full invoice amount has been paid.
7. Self-Collections
-
If you choose to collect your order from our workshop, the structural warranty remains valid.
-
The Business is not liable for any damage occurring during transit or self-assembly by the Customer.
8. Jurisdiction
-
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of South African courts.
